Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtic said that the implementation of the Law was the key to solving the problem of equal language use in Kosovo. Jevtic stressed that for the first time there was a full commitment of the Government of Kosovo to solve the issue of equal use of languages in a quality way, reported Kontakt plus radio.
“With the Prime Minister and the Commissioner for Languages we have made a concrete agreement on the steps that need to be implemented in order to be able to change such a situation in a positive way. What currently is missing is to solve the implementation of the Law in an institutional way. With the help of the Office of the Prime Minister, the Office of the Language Commissioner, we think that we will be in a position to change the current situation for the better,” emphasized Jevtic at the Forum on the respect of language rights in Kosovo held in Pristina.
