The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Visar Ymeri reacted to the arrest of Vetevendosje MPs. “The three MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, Donika Kadaj-Bujupi dhe Albin Kurti were arrested in a brutal manner by the Police of the Republic of Kosovo, based on political orders, while they were entering the session. So the three MPs were coming at the session called for today. This is yet another case, or continuance of massive and extensive persecutions that have started against the Vetevendosje Movement, especially lately, with the sentence of four of our activists with 21 years of jail, without any proof or evidence, to continue with this decision of the unjust court towards the Vetevendosje Movement MPs , due to our protest to defend sovereignty of the Republic and territorial integrity of the country,” Ymeri said.
