British Ambassador, Ruairi O’Connell said Kosovo’s main challenge is fighting corruption, especially at the high level. “Corruption destroys the country, prevents economic development,” said O’Connell at a presentation of a Kosovo Law Institute report. He also said Kosovo has not achieved a positive track record of fighting corruption. “There is no high-level conviction. This leads to the decrease of trust in justice institutions,” said O’Connell.
