Head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, Ahmet Isufi, said today that the text of the consensus agreement between a number of parliamentary parties on border demarcation should be left unchanged. “The order and the items have been changed. Symbolism matters sometimes and the text therefore needs to remain as it was,” Isufi said. His statement comes after reports that the Assembly committee on foreign affairs yesterday approved a version of the document different to what was signed last week by leaders of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Social Democratic Initiative (NISMA). The committee’s chairperson, Vjosa Osmani from LDK, meanwhile said they made no changes to the document they were given.
