Recommendations of the opposition political parties deriving from the PM Ramush Haradinaj’s motion on the decision to increase his and his cabinet employees’ salaries, were not voted today.

Kosovo Assembly MP from Vetevendosje Movement, Albulena Haxhiu, presented recommendations, however, Shkumbin Demaliaj, MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said they are waiting for the decision of the Constitutional Court.

Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), said the debate on one hundred days of the government cannot continue without voting the recommendations. He added that the Assembly should dissolve as the parliamentary majority does not have sufficient votes to pass any law. He added that if this continues to be the case, LDK parliamentary group will not participate at any voting.

After this, MPs from LDK and Vetevendosje movement left the session as sign of protest. Kosovo Assembly President met with political party caucuses, and announced later that the session will be postponed for tomorrow.
