President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vucic in February said he would present to the public his proposal for Kosovo solution by the end of March or beginning of April, in March he said he would do so by the end of April, and now he says “he is not certain” it would happen that way, as there is no solution yet, Leader of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Milos Jovanovic said in a written statement, Danas daily reports.
“It is obvious that the President of the Republic tangled in earlier concessions he made to Washington and Brussels requests, has no strategy how to exit impasse in which he dragged Serbia with devastating and utterly irresponsible policy of joining the EU at any price.
Now when the price is to accept Kosovo membership in the UN and determine border with Kosovo it became clear what President thinks when he constantly mentions painful solution and a compromise,” DSS press statement further said.
Jovanovic added the only favorable strategy for Serbia to resolve the Kosovo issue is to maintain a status of a frozen conflict, however Aleksandar Vucic is against it, as USA and EU are not supportive of that either, regardless their interests are contrary to that of Serbia.
