Vetevendosje leader, Albin Kurti, met last night in Pristina the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Cedomir Jovanovic. In a Facebook post, Kurti wrote that Jovanovic played an instrumental role in sending the former Serbian leader, Slobodan Milosevic, to face trial in The Hague as did in the arrest of Jovica Stanisic and Frenki Simatovic on war crimes charges. “We discussed relations between Kosovo and Serbia, political developments and social-economic situation in our countries, the situation in the region and European integration challenges. We also spoke about the past, student movements, former Yugoslavia wars, and open wounds in the Balkans,” Kurti wrote.
