Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, met Bulgarian Prime Minister, Boyko Borissov, at the sidelines of the Aqaba Meetings taking place in Tirana, an initiative of King Abdullah of Jordan to combat terrorism and radicalization. Haradinaj thanked Borissov for his government’s support to Kosovo. “Kosovo is determined to continue good relations and bilateral cooperation with Bulgaria, as two friendly countries,” Haradinaj said. He briefed his Bulgarian counterpart of the processes Kosovo is going through and said that Bulgaria has played an important role in getting Kosovo and the Western Balkans closer to EU. Haradinaj said Kosovo needs the support from an ally like Bulgaria in the process of visa liberalisation and EU integration, as well as membership in Interpol and Europol.
