Albanians’ Rights in Serbia Must Not be Ignored (Balkan Insight)

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic last weekend began the so-called final phase of the Kosovo-Serbia talks in Brussels, which should conclude with a “comprehensive” and “legally binding” agreement for both countries.

While both sides often say that ‘compromises’ will have to be made, there have been no mentions of what these compromises could mean.

Both Thaci and Vucic have launched ‘internal dialogues’ to gather support for whatever solution might be agreed.

The Serbian dialogue did not yield anything new regarding the well-known Serbian position on Kosovo, while in Kosovo, meetings, roundtable discussions and conferences have made it clear that for Pristina, the most undesirable options are the partition of Kosovo and the exchange of territories with Serbia.
