Azem Vllasi, Pristina-based lawyer and advisor to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, said in an interview to TV Prva that he does not see dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia ending soon. He said it is unreasonable to talk about Kosovo’s status because it was settled in 2008. “Kosovo is an independent state and no one should talk about this with Serbia because it would send us back to point zero … The reality is that there is no politician in Kosovo that would talk about changing our country’s status, namely if Kosovo is a state or not and if Serbia should be asked whether or not Kosovo is a state,” he said. Asked to comment on the possible division of Kosovo, Vllasi ruled out the option. “The international community, which managed Kosovo’s independence, would not allow this, and neither would Brussels, which is leading the process of normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. They don’t even want to hear about it … What does division mean? If we start talking about borders, we are going to have problems
