Belgrade-Pristina dialogue continues tomorrow, however given all what had happened since the last meeting in Brussels, including arrests of Serbs in Kosovo, recent incidents targeting returnees and harsh rhetoric of Haradinaj and Thaci on “red lines” and Kosovo army, I wonder how this round of negotiations would go, Director of Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric told Serbian tabloid Alo.

Asked about expectation if Serbian people would support in a referendum solution for Kosovo proposed by President Vucic, Djuric responded that proposal for sustainable solution is still far ahead, and it requires openness and readiness of both sides, crucial geopolitical stakeholders and that both Serbs and Albanians should equally gain and lose.

He also commented on requests put forward by Albanians from Presevo that they should have the same rights as Serbs in the north of Kosovo, saying that Albanians in central Serbia enjoy the highest level of political and all other rights and he would wish if Serbs in Gorazdevac or Priluzje would have the same security and conditions for a safe and dignified life as Albanians in Presevo have.
