Mayor of Mitrovica South and deputy leader of the Alliance for New Kosovo (AKR) Agim Bahtiri, has requested from the government of Kosovo respectively Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, to urgently dismiss Gjergj Dedaj from all the positions in Kosovo institutions.
“With his announcements and continuous actions during the last months, Gjergj Dedaj has induced clashes among citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and dissatisfaction of friendly countries, affecting in this manner seriously relations with some of our friends and image of the Republic of Kosovo.
Therefore, not wanting to understand silence towards Mr. Dedaj’s unacceptable announcements as approval of what he stated, I request from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Ramush Hardinaj to urgently dismiss Mr. Dedaj from all functions of the institutions of Kosovo, as I consider that this action would be welcomed by citizens of the country, who are dissatisfied with his recent announcements, but also by friendly countries which have done a lot for Kosovo,” is written in Bahtiri’s statement.
