Sociologist Dario Hajric, assessing a part of Aleksandar Vucic’s speech at the SNS Main Committee on Kosovo, said that he (Vucic) prepares the ground for a new initiative to be taken, regional broadcaster N1 reports.
He adds that there will probably be a turning point in Kosovo’s politics, but he thinks that this will not happen behind the scenes.
– It is a process that has been going on for some time, which is a light walk towards recognition of Kosovo, in one form or another. The only turning point is in front of the cameras, as a show for the public – says Hajric.
Commenting on yesterday’s Vucic statements regarding Kosovo, Hajric says the president “did not explain what happened now.”
– The question arises what exactly of his policies regarding Kosovo has changed over the years – we had that we will not recognize independence, then we had territorial exchanges, the division, and then that there will be some sort of delimitation. It is unclear what of all of this have been defeated, did all this failed? – Hajric is asking.
In this regard, commenting on the president’s statement that “the Serbs prefer to cry”, Hajric estimates that, according to Vucic, the citizens are guilty again, who, as he says, actually are not asked about nothing.
In the opinion of Hajric, there has never been an internal dialogue on Kosovo.
– The President told us, with great regret, that now everything is getting over Serbia. He did not tell us again what exactly is going over, except perhaps those flying cars from China – Hajric concluded.
