Beghjet Pacolli’s party (AKR) states that is has dismissed from duty the Minister of Internal Affairs Bejtush Gashi. The news has been confirmed by AKR’s secretary Rrahim Pacolli. Instead of Gashi, Ekrem Mustafa is expected to be appointed as the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Express reports.
Nonetheless the Government hasn’t yet officially confirmed that Gashi is not any longer part of the Government. Rrahim Pacolli told Express that his dismissal comes because of the minister’s poor performance.
“Yes, it is true that he has been dismissed by the party. AKR has always changed its ministers. This is done because of poor performance. Every AKR minister has to do more for the benefit of the citizens” Pacolli told Express. The news has been also confirmed by AKR Agim Bahtiri.
