Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has commented the announcements of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that creation of the army of Kosovo would cause problems and anxiety.
According to Hoti this may be true, but only for those who still have different pretensions on borders and usurpation of lands. “This may be true but only for those whose calls for peace and stability in the region are a camouflage to reach their old ambitions, change of borders in Balkans and taking over lands,” Hoti wrote.
“This can also be true for those who work against Euro-Atlantic interests in our region. Otherwise, creation of the Army of Kosovo will determine peace and stability in the region as well as extension and strengthening of the Euro-Atlantic geopolitics. Therefore, its creation is a process that cannot be stopped by anyone and we will do it in cooperation with our allies,” Hoti concluded.
