Kosovo’s Justice Minister, Abelard Tahiri, currently in the US, met at the State Department the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Jorgan Andrews. In the meeting, Tahiri spoke of Kosovo institutions’ efforts to fight organised crime and trafficking of narcotics. He also presented results in the field of international justice cooperation and said Kosovo is increasingly consolidating its position as a regional leader in the fight against narcotics and violent radicalism and extremism. Tahiri also met Susan Falatko from the Office for South Central European Affairs and earlier the US Attorney General, Jeff Sessions.
