Several news websites report that the Kosovo Government has decided today to increase the import tax on products coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. KTV reports that there will be a 10 percent increase on all products coming from these two countries with the exception of products that are international brands. Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, who suggested the increase, said this is international practice. Deputy Prime Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, hailed the decision saying it is a response to Serbia’s wild campaign against Kosovo on the international arena.
