Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj suggested President Hashim Thaci reconsider whether to attend Brussels dialogue for normalisation of relations with Serbia if there is no visa liberalisation for Kosovo. “It would be very bad if one side in the dialogue, in this case Kosovo and Mr. Thaci, is told to go to dialogue but your citizens will not get liberalisation. Thaci would do well to analyse what he will do and whether go to these meetings at all,” Haradinaj said in a press conference following the meeting of the Ministerial Council for European Integration. He said he believed Kosovo would get a positive decision on visa liberalisation this year if the issue gets included in the agenda of the EU Council of Ministers meeting in December. He said EU interior ministers are hesitating in including visa liberalisation issue in the agenda saying the environment is not right. “Our request is to include it and not preempt the result,” Haradinaj said.
