CeSID Executive Director, Bojan Klacar said the latest researches indicate that only 8 percent of Serbian citizens have no stance on the resolution of Kosovo and Metohija issue, Tanjug news agency reported.

Presenting the results of the survey, at 6th Belgrade NATO Week, Klacar said when asked about their stances on delineation in a referendum, 36 percent of respondents said they would vote for, 34 percent would vote against, while 22 percent would not turn out.

“Fact that only 8 percent (out of 1.010 respondents) has no stance, indicated this topic is very important for the citizens in Serbia,” Klacar said, adding that Serbian citizens see USA, EU, NATO and Germany as main actors who should support the idea on delineation.

Talking about how to resolve the Kosovo issue, where four options were provided, the first one saying  Kosovo should remain part of Serbia at any cost, and the last one that Kosovo is independent and nothing can be changed about that, Klacar said 53 percent of respondents said Kosovo should remain part of Serbia, while 63 percent is against Kosovo independence.
