The Belgrade daily Blic claims that the US and the most influential European countries are concerned already about the co-operation and contacts held by top officials of Moscow and representatives of Pristina authorities.

Blic says that more diplomatic sources confirmed that all presidents of influential Western countries ask about this newly built relationship within the EU institutions.

– There is no meeting of European representatives with Trump’s associates in charge of the Western Balkans region, that they do not ask what kind of agreement are making Russia and Albanians in Kosovo and what they are discussing – says one of Blic’s interlocutors who wanted to remain anonymous.

Blic claims to be the same with meetings with Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel and other European leaders.

– In the last few months, the German secret service has uncovered several meetings of top Russian officials with the leadership of Pristina, and this was immediately a sign of an alert – the Blic source said.

Blic claims that at one of these meetings, on the question whether the Moscow and Pristina deal is in sight, a representative of one of the embassies said that Russia was working to stop an agreement between Serbs and Albanians due to fear of losing its position in this part of Europe, and so its stronghold.

-If the Serbs and the Albanians agree, the Russians fear that they will no longer be important and will lose all the impact they have on the Balkans, the Blic’c source quoted a man from an embassy.

Blic says that secret meetings also affected the recent change and shift in US policy towards Kosovo.

Blic claims that the position of Serbia was never harder, and the state top and Aleksandar Vucic would still face challenges.
