The Extraordinary session of the Assembly of Kosovo foreseen to discuss Kosovo’s foreign policy, has failed due to the lack of quorum.

“Obligation of the governing coalition, not that of parliamentarian majority, because they are not majority any more, is to be present at the session. The intention of this session was to clarify better the foreign policy towards the targets of the Republic of Kosovo, but due to the absence of the government, we propose that the date to hold this session should be proposed at the meeting of Assembly leadership,” said Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).

Memli Krasniqi, caucus of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), agreed with the proposal and added that this debate could be held after the decision on Kosovo’s membership at INTERPOL, which will be held on 20 November.

Vetevendosje Movement and the Social-Democratic Party also criticized the governing cabinet for their absence at the session.
