Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli said today after the meeting of Assembly presidency that Kosovo has fulfilled all the criteria for visa liberalization and that there is no reason for some other decision-making on the matter. “This week’s agenda will also be filled with several draft-laws related to the European agenda. The matter of visa liberlaisation is a technical one, Kosovo does not embarrass the EU. We have a plenary session on Thursday, which will be continuance of the session called by LDK and Vetevendosje, also another session on Friday. 65 draft laws have been endorsed so far, parliamentary committees are working,” Veseli said.

He also expressed optimism with regards to Kosovo’s membership at INTERPOL. “Our institutions have done a great job, we are optimistic, but we do not want to speak before everything is over. Serbia is impeding this to happen,” Veseli said.

Speaking about transformation of Kosovo Security Force into an army, Veseli expressed conviction that this will happen, and added that coalition government will continue its work further.
