Kosovo Liberalisation Army veterans have called on the government of Kosovo not to revoke the recently introduced 100% import tax on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and exercise reciprocity in all fields. In a statement to the press, the KLA veterans’ associations said the government of Kosovo should have taken the step much sooner in face of Serbia’s failure to respect agreements and its ‘aggressive’ campaign against Kosovo. “Kosovo veterans will stand by the government to the end and call on all the political spectrum not to confuse battle for power with the overall national interest,” the statement reads.
