Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) has written to Kosovo MPs asking them to call a special session of the Assembly to discuss recent developments in the north. It said the recent protests against Kosovo government’s decision to impose a 100 percent tax on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the resignation of northern municipalities’ mayors require attention of Kosovo institutions, namely the Assembly. According to KDI, Kosovo Assembly would have to adopt a coordinated approach to prevent institutional vacuum.
