The European Parliament has voted a motion which calls on the five countries of the European Union – Spain, Slovakia, Romania, Greece and Cyprus to recognize independence of Kosovo.
The text of this motion stresses that “recognition would have been beneficial for reestablishment of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia,” reports Larepublica.cat. 393 MPs supported the motion, 138 voted against and seven of them abstained, reports the portal.
