Secretary general of the Serbian president Nikola Selakovic told Prva TV on Wednesday that there is no confirmation that Washington is sending a ship full of weapons to the (future) Kosovo army, quotes B92 portal.
“The very fact that the formation of the so-called Kosovo army is being considered, which is contrary to all international regulations, but also to those adopted in Kosovo, shows that they don’t hesitate at nothing,” said Selakovic.
Asked to comment on the Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti, which reported that a ship full of the latest weapons was heading towards Albania, with the intention of reaching Kosovo, and by Washington’s orders – Selakovic said that for the time being he had no confirmation of this information – but that it does not surprise him.
“We urge all citizens of Serbia and we appeal on them to see what is happening and to be aware of how serious the situation we are in is. The most serious so far,” Selakovic said.
