Minister of Justice Abelard Tahiri rejected accusations that the government’s decision to provide special allowance to prosecutors who work on cases of corruption is unlawful and that this has already been set out in the 2018 and 2019 budget. Tahiri also said that next year Kosovo Assembly will vote on the new law on Criminal Procedure which he said will strengthen the rule of law.
