Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj said in an interview to Tirana-based Vision Plus that the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into an army will turn Kosovo into an exporter of security in the region and beyond. Hoxhaj said the Kosovo Armed Forces as an institution, philosophy and practice were built by NATO and that they will have the support of key NATO member states in the process. “We want to become part of NATO but at the same time we want KFOR to remain in Kosovo and for us to continue our close cooperation,” Hoxhaj said.
