Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti wrote on Facebook that in his address at the UN Security Council session yesterday President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci showed he “is out of the long winter loneliness”. Kurti said Thaci was going back to the language he employed in the summer of 2018 when he spoke of the need for ‘a painful compromise’ and ‘border correction’. “Note carefully, now he speaks again about ‘difficult decisions’ and opposed what he calls ‘population exchange’ but he does not speak about territorial integrity nor does he reject territorial exchange or even partition of Kosovo,” Kurti wrote of Thaci.
