Obviously, there is a decision in the US administration to use the opportunity and push the story on the resolution of Belgrade-Pristina issue forward, analyst Obrad Kesic told Prva TV.
However, he termed the timing to do so as “strange” since relations between Belgrade and Pristina have escalated.
“The letters US President Donald Trump sent to Belgrade and Pristina came in a very strange moment. However, this is a signal, there is a carrot for both leaders if they make an agreement, and it is reception hosted by the US President, who would then show the USA succeeded where the EU has not. There is a possibility for a reward, but on the other hand, there could be a punishment as well,” Kesic explained,
