A new interactive map detailing the victims of the Yugoslav wars incorporates the efforts of various documentation centres, locating where human lives were lost all across the former country.

The Initiative for RECOM and Documenta – Centre for Dealing with the Past on Thursday presented “The Map of the 1991–2001 War Victims in the Former SFRY” in Zagreb, Croatia.

The map draws together the efforts of various documentation centres to establish the facts about human losses in the wars of the 1990s.

They are Documenta, the Humanitarian Law Centre HLC in Belgrade, the Humanitarian Law Centre Prishtina, and the Association for Transitional Justice, Accountability, and Remembrance in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
