Council for the Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms (CDHRF), issued a press release which notes that “due to the use of the racist and sexist language of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli in front of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, as a justification for rejections of Kosovo’s membership in INTERPOL by member states, and due to the withdrawal of recognitions from some states and degradation of the work of this ministry and because of the unfair presentation of Kosovo at international level, the CDHRF has requested the dismissal of Mr. Pacolli by Prime Minister Haradinaj, as the only logical and necessary measure.”

CDHRF also requested dismissal of not only Minister Rikalo but all Serbian ministers in the Government of Kosovo, who exclusively for political reasons and at the request of Serbia, respectively President Vucic, for months have boycotted work in the government of Kosovo “abusing in the meantime with all the rights that do not belong to them, and damaging Kosovo’s budget.

“If these ministers who publicly state that their president is Vucic and not Thaci, continue to receive any means from the Kosovo budget for failure or sabotage of work of the government, then the government will be held responsible for it. The CDHRF requests from the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, based on the responsibilities recognized by the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, to announce the extraordinary elections for the municipalities in northern Kosovo, mayors of which have also resigned for political reasons. The resignation of these mayors is considered legitimate and irrevocable by the CDHRF and therefore any attempt not to announce extraordinary elections for these municipalities by the President of Kosovo is considered a violation of the Kosovo Constitution,” reads the CDHRF press release.
