Kosovo Government made the decision to expand its decision on 100 percent taxes and include international companies that produce their goods in central Serbia, national public broadcaster RTS reports.

According to RTS this decision was made at today’s Kosovo government session, only a few hours after Quint ambassadors requested full abolishment of the taxes on goods from central Serbia.

More than a month ago, Pristina made the decision to increase initial 10 percent taxes to 100 percent on the goods from central Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, Kosovo authorities adopted an annex that allowed 10 foreign companies with seats in Serbia to distribute their goods in Kosovo, without paying 100 percent taxes.

These companies included “Coca-Cola HBC,” “Tuborg,” “Dukat,” “Gemalto,” “Rauch,” “Henkel” “Fluidi” from Presevo, “Gorenje,” “Meggle,” and “Jaffa.”
