Shpend Ahmeti, leader of the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo (PSD) and co-head of the Kosovo state delegation for talks with Serbia, reacted today against claims by Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) representatives who said that the delegation lacks constitutional legitimacy. “The LDK thinks that the whole world will wait for them to join the process. Processes are in motion. It is unreasonable for a party that claims to have a high percentage of votes, to exclude itself from the process. If they don’t join in for Kosovo’s sake, why do they exist? We have a clear mandate from the Assembly and in line with the Constitution,” Ahmeti told the news website today.
