Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister, Ivica Dacic told TV Happy that on Monday, 21 January, one more country could revoke recognition of Kosovo.
Noting, that Belgrade managed to bring back Kosovo “as the main topic on the agenda,” Dacic added that Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov, during yesterday’s visit to Belgrade told him “it is a historic achievement for Belgrade to convince 12 countries to revoke recognitions of Kosovo.”
“It is known to everybody they asked us to suspend our activities for six months, and they would suspend taxes they introduced for our goods. Does this apply to the USA, will they stop lobbing? In the Security Council they said, “we all on all countries to recognize independence of Kosovo,” Dacic said, adding that Serbia did not agree to that and would continue its work.
“Tomorrow the negotiations would continue, Monday is a day when it can be expected that yet another country would revoke recognition of Kosovo,” Dacic said.
