Blerim Latifi, advisor to Kosovo Assembly President and PDK leader Kadri Veseli, told the news website on Sunday that the PDK has never discussed the unconditional suspension of the 100-percent tax on Serbian products. “As far as the position of the PDK is concerned, the PDK forums and the Office of the Assembly President have never discussed the unconditional suspension of the tax on Serbian products,” Latifi said. His remarks come as a response to claims by AAK MP Muharrem Nitaj who argued that PDK and NISMA representatives have backed down on the 100-percent tax following pressure from the United States. Latifi however said that the U.S. request must be treated with utmost seriousness.
