Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj said Kosovo has already at 4.5 percent the highest annual economic growth in the Western Balkans and predicted the figure could go as high as 7 percent this year. “With the construction of Kosova e Re Power Plant by Contour Global, this growth is expected to reach 7%,” Haradinaj wrote on Twitter adding that the contract with the U.S. company provides an investment of €1.3 billion and will ensure Kosovo’s energy independence.
