Even 20 years after the war, there is no justice for the war crimes in Kosovo while local and international institutions are not working to shed light on the crimes.

Head of the “Voice of parents” association for the missing persons in Mitrovica, Bajram Qerkini said there are no sufficient efforts to shed light on the crimes and the missing persons. “There is not a satisfactory justice in Kosovo, family members spend each day waiting,” Qerkini said.

According to him, murder of Albanian population had only one reason – that they were Albanians. “No one was saved while killing Albanians, there are murders of children, old people, there are damages against everything that was Albanian,” he said.

He claimed that crimes are being hidden. “There are still over 1600 missing persons, thousands of people were deported, so there was a massive exodus,” he said.
