Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) commented the recent events in Kosovo. He refers to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj as the outgoing Prime Minister.

“1. Kosovo has marked regress on combating corruption. Transparency International assesses that Kosovo has fallen from the position 85 into 93. This is certainly not a surprise with this government.

2. Kosovo is in the verge of spoiling friendly relations with the U.S. The outgoing Prime Minister claims this is not problematic.

3. Kosovo is blocked from strikes in education, healthcare and administration, induced by the decision of the government to increase their own salaries, despite the assessment of the Anticorruption Agency that this is a conflict of interest, after being called to legally make the assessments.

These kinds of news should not be produced in Kosovo. We should produce news for foreign investors who invest in Kosovo, about achievements in diplomacy, improvement of the lives of the citizens, news on fulfillment of the EU requests for European integration,” Hoti wrote.
