Kosovar Prime Minister Haradinaj wants to lift tariffs against Serbia in return for recognizing Kosovo The dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo is slowly entering the “hot phase”. On Tuesday, Kosovo’s PM Ramush Haradinaj agreed to lift 100 percent tariffs on Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina for 120 days. In return, Belgrade should recognize Kosovo and give Kosovo a UN seat, according to Haradinaj. He also called for an international conference where the US and the EU should seal the agreement between Serbia and Kosovo. However, Haradinaj reiterated that the EU must reject “any restoration of the current borders of Kosovo, the partition of Kosovo or an exchange of territory”. The exchange of territory would provide for Northern Kosovo to come to Serbia and the Serbian Presevo Valley to Kosovo. Until 2018 such an exchange was always excluded from the EU.
