Nikola Ivanovic, son of assassinated leader of Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice, (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic, told Danas daily that entire Ivanovic’s family takes part in the protests “One in Five Million.”
Commenting on his participation in the first protest organized in Mitrovica North on Saturday, Nikola Ivanovic said “it is not only part of his family supporting the protest, they are all together in that.”
“Our family is interested that the perpetrators and organizers of my father’s murder are found. I see there are more issues in this state that need to be resolved and that is my personal reason why I participate in protests in Belgrade since the beginning,” he said.
He has confirmed to Danas, that candles participants of the protest on Saturday lighted in front of SDP office, where Oliver Ivanovic was murdered, disappeared after some time and they were taken away before completely burning down. Nikola Ivanovic said he cannot think about the acts of people, whose behaviour he does not understand.
