KLA Commander of the General HQ, Sylejman Selimi gave today his first statement to the Special Court in Pristina. His lawyer, Tome Gashi informed about this on his Facebook account. “KLA Commander of the General HQ, General Sylejman Selimi, invited by the Special Court, gave his statement in Pristina. “Today on 06.02.2019, we the lawyers Tomë Gashi and Gregor Guy Smith, invite you for a press conference at 14:00 hours, at our office in Pristina… to inform you about this matter,” Gashi wrote.
At the press conference, Tome Gashi said that Sylejman Selimi was interviewed as a suspect. “The questioning of anyone who is suspicious is considered confidential and would break the laws. I can not say about which cases he was interviewed. There has been general questioning and the answers have been such. There is no legal reason to file an indictment against him, ” lawyer Gashi said.
