The President of the Assembly of Kosovo Kadri Veseli, hailed signing of the protocol for Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia’s membership at NATO.
“The news of the signing of the NATO membership protocol by the friendly state of Northern Macedonia is a welcomed event not only for our neighbors but for the entire region. I am particularly happy for our compatriots in this country, who have played a key role in the Euro-Atlantic integration efforts. Kosovo looks forward to North Macedonia’s NATO membership, hoping to follow the same example in the near future. We see NATO enlargement in our region as a very important and beneficial process that strengthens peace and stability and consolidates freedom and democracy throughout the Balkans,” wrote Veseli on his Facebook page.
