The Hague-based Specialist Prosecutor’s Office has interviewed former Kosovo Liberation Army commander Sylejman Selimi – who was recently freed from jail after a war crimes sentence – as a suspect, his lawyers said.
Sylejman Selimi, a former wartime guerrilla leader who is now a political adviser to Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, was interviewed as a suspect on Wednesday by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, which is probing wartime and post-war crimes in Kosovo.
