Most news websites cover today’s meeting between Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and the U.S. Ambassador in Kosovo, Philip Kosnett. Thaci said Kosovo’s friendship with the U.S. is eternal and crucial to achieving its strategic objectives to integrate in Euro-Atlantic structures. “Kosovo and the United States of America share common, values principles and objectives. Our common objective is to build sustainable peace and stability in Kosovo and the region, as a prerequisite for the development and prosperity of our country. Reaching a peaceful, comprehensive and final settlement between Kosovo and Serbia is crucial for peace,” he said. Thaci and Kosnett agreed it is vital to remove all obstacles for resuming dialogue with Serbia and to make way for a peace agreement. “Partnership and friendly relations with the United States of America are crucial for Kosovo.
