Head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, commented today on the Kosovo’s platform for dialogue with Serbia saying the party will not vote in its favour at the Assembly. Hoti is quoted as saying that Kosovo’s platform for dialogue with Serbia is its Constitution and that the government of Kosovo is the body that has political legitimacy to negotiate. “Any other format is unconstitutional and will never have support. Kosovo is an independent country and should be represented by constitutional institutions. If these institutions have no political capacity and no legitimacy, then ways to gain this legitimacy need to be pursued. No one should experiment with Kosovo’s statehood,” Hoti said.
