Most news websites report that Kosovo has again applied to become part of INTERPOL. The General Assembly will be in October in Santiago, Chile. Kosovo’s Deputy Minister for Interior Affairs, Izmi Zeka, said today that Pristina submitted its application on January 31. “Our request has been accepted and it was confirmed to us that Kosovo will be on the agenda,” he said. Zeka added that Kosovo was preparing a better strategy than last year. “We have learned our lesson from the last time. We will communicate with countries that abstained and those that voted against our bid. We will work on this,” he added.
