The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) gave no concrete answer if they could try to oust the Haradinaj-led government with the votes of Serbian List MPs. LDK parliamentary group chief, Avdullah Hoti, neither denied nor confirmed if they would accept the votes of the Serbian List MPs but said they would not agree to conditions from any political party. “The LDK will submit a vote of confidence against the government the moment we secure 61 votes in the Assembly. We will not accept conditions from anyone,” Hoti told the paper.
Vetevendosje MP Rexhep Selimi on the other hand said his party would in no way try to bring down the Haradinaj government “through Belgrade”. “Although the government was formed with the support of the Serbian List, namely with the blessing of the Serbian Government, we will not try to bring down the government through the Serbian List, but through the opposition. We neither count or seek the votes of the Serbian List to oust the government. This government must fall, we need new elections as soon as possible, but not because Serbia wants this, but because the people of Kosovo want this to happen,” Selimi said.
