Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) took to Facebook to write that 2018 has marked a great regress in the fields of law and order and human rights.
“Recently Kosovo has been criticized harshly by our partners due to the involvement of politics on independent institutions.
He further stresses that the findings of the 2018 report of the U.S. State Department on human rights are concerning.
“The irony is that partners of PAN coalition and the President compete with each other, in efforts to justify themselves and blame the other. We will seek responsibility for this violation,” Hoti wrote further.
“Kosovo should be an example of how human rights are respected, because we have been oppressed by a power of violence and repression. Kosovo should be an example of court independence because we aim for EU integration. Kosovo needs a normal government, a civilian and professional government, ” Hoti wrote.
