Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, remembered today the victims of the massacres in the villages of Celine, Fortese and Brestoc in March 1999. “When we remember the women, men, elderly and children of the massacres in the villages of Celine, Fortese and Brestoc, in March 1999, we feel the weight of our precious freedom. As a society and a state, we will never stop seeking justice for the victims and to bring the perpetrators to justice,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook. The news website notes that 75 Albanian civilians were killed in these villages one day after the start of the NATO air campaign against Serbian military targets in Kosovo.
